- Hope Floats' Author Day, June 6, 2021. Five compassionate authors affiliated with Denise and Ken Brack's nonprofit bereavement center presented their work on the lawn (under the shade!). Among them were Maureen Walsh, Don Quindley (whose titles are both featured here) and Gary Sturgis.

Keynoted by best-selling author Steve Manchester, Ken joined four other authors providing craft tips and strategies for both emerging and seasoned writers. Ken joined Tony LaGreca, co host of "Sports Talk" and an activist with Fed Up, a coalition to end the opioid epidemic, to discuss common responses to grief such as becoming activists in memory of a loved one. - "Stepping Through Quicksand," article in We Need Not Walk Alone magazine (pages 6-7) discussing healthy outlets and coping strategies for grieving men, Autumn-Winter 2018, The Compassionate Friends.
